We invited Prof. Kookrin Char (Seoul National University) as the lecturer of RIES Academic Lecture (sponsered by RIES and co-sponcered by JSAP Hokkaido) held on June 21st, 2024. The title of Prof. Char’s invited talk was “Potential of epitaxial perovskite oxide heterostructures”. He explained about high mobility oxide semiconductor BaSnO₃ that he discovered and its heterointerfaces between dielectric oxides, and memories utilizing the heterointeface between BaSnO₃ and ferroelectric oxides.
